Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supporters on Sunday took part in a car rally here backing its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
Delhi BJP chief Vijay Goel, who flagged off the rally, said it was organised to spread the message that people, especially the youth, are looking forward for Modi as the next prime minister.
"There is huge excitement in people for Narendra Modi. People want him to become the Prime Minister of India. In Delhi, the intellectual crowd including chartered accountants, doctors, etc have organised the car rally. This is to send a message that the nation and more importantly the youth are looking forward for Narendra Modi," he said.
Cars with BJP's flags were lined up for the rally, and supporters holding posters of Modi were seen shouting slogans.
