In an attempt to reach out to farmers, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will hold a Kisan Rally here today to counter the opposition over the new Land Acquisition Bill.
Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and all BJP MPs of Delhi are likely to attend and address the rally.
The president of the Delhi unit of the BJP, Satish Upadhyay, said other parties were misleading farmers by projecting that the bill was against them.
He said the BJP's Kisan Rally would go a long way to assure the farmers that their interest is being taken care of.
