Canadian player Eugenie Bouchard has described Australian bad boy Nick Kyrgios as charismatic and said there is a need for such unique players on the tour.
The 21-year-old said that the controversial star is energetic and brings something different to the game, news.com.au reports.
Last year's Wimbledon runner-up added that she doesn't mind playing with Kyrgios in the mixed doubles at the US Open despite his recent on-court 'insulting remark' to Stan Wawrinka.
Kyrgios, who recently asked Bouchard to partner up, will play mixed doubles with Aussie player, only if they are able to win wildcard into the draw.
The final Grand Slam of the 2015 season is scheduled to begin from today at the Flushing Meadows in New York.
