Brad Pitt may be under a turmoil post divorce filing by his wife Angelina Jolie, but there is one record the father to six would to like set straight- his kids' "well-being."

The 'World War Z' actor expressed deep sadness and concern in a conversation with the People magazine, saying, "I am very saddened by this but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids."

"I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time," he requested.

Fans and media alike, no one is a stranger to the fascinating romance and the family life of this Hollywood couple, who are now heading for a splitsville after 11 years of togetherness.

As a couple, Brangelina have come a long way dealing with personal as well as professional issues and it is safe to say it is natural instinctive for the father to be saddened by the announcement after all the years stood for each other.

When in 2013, she had preventive double mastectomy, Pitt was by Jolie's side reportedly for every procedure. He was there again after a 2015 ovarian cancer scare led her to remove her ovaries and fallopian tubes.

The 'Mr And Mrs Smith' actor is just as outspoken about his support for his wife. Back then he was reported to have said that he found "Angie's choice., absolutely heroic."

"All I want is for her to have a long and healthy life, with myself and our children," he said in a statement then.
