The 'Breaking Bad' star Steven Michael Quezada will be running for New Mexico's county commissioner as he intends to have the Democratic ticket for the Bernalillo County Commission seat.
The 52-year-old American actor, who is popular for playing DEA agent Steven Gomez on the hit AMC show, is already a member of the Albuquerque school board and said that he hopes to bring a new face to the Democratic Party, People Magazine reported.
Quezada, who is supposed to soon make official announcement, said that he needed to reach out to young people, the young Chicanos, the young Latinos and get them involved in this process and let them know that this was important.
Notably, the actor was born in Albuquerque and attended Eastern New Mexico University, where he studied theater arts.
