Brit sailor says might have seen missing Malaysian Airline MH370 on fire

A British sailor, who was crossing the Indian Ocean en route to Phuket in March, has reportedly come forward to file a report, saying that she might have seen the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 on fire.

Katherine Tee, who was sailing from Cochin in India to Phuket with her husband Marc Horn, has reportedly claimed that she saw what looked like a plane on fire crossing the night sky, with a plume of black smoke trailing behind it.

According to Phuket Gazette, Tee, who is from Liverpool, said that she was on a night watch, her husband was asleep below deck and one other crew member was asleep on deck when she saw something that looked like a plain on fire.

Tee said that it caught her attention because she had never seen a plane with orange lights before, so she wondered what they were.

Earlier, a Kiwi ocean search expert had reportedly promised to find the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 if his company gets the tender following the authorities' decision to handover the search task to commercial specialists this week, as no one has been able to give any details on the whereabouts of the flight.
