A British adventurer has become the first woman to padel from Japan to Alaska.
According to the New York Daily News, Sarah Outen is in the middle of the immense challenge of traversing the globe using only human power, biking and rowing her way around the entire world.
The challenge called London2London starts in London and ends at the British capital three and a half years later.
The quest has taken her across 7,500 nautical miles, across three continents, and through several near-death experiences.
Outen said she hopes to make it back to London by 2015, where she plans to marry her fiancee, Lucy.
