Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that his four old guards at Stamford Bridge, Frank Lampard, John Terry, Ashley Cole and Petr Cech, who played under him before, are still just as special now as they were them, particularly Lampard, indicating that he wants to retain all of them.
According to The Daily Express, Mourinho revealed that after he went to Inter Milan five years ago he talked to Lampard about joining him in Italy.
The Special One said that when some managers go to a new club, they like to take with them four or five guys that they know very well, adding that he did not.
He said that the relations the big four had with him were perfect at this stage because they trusted him.
