Bruce Springsteen's autobiography to hit shelves in September

Singer-turned-writer Bruce Springsteen has revealed the release date of his much-anticipated autobiography 'Born to Run through Simon & Schuster.'

The 66-year-old singer revealed that his autobiography will be released on 27 September and has promised to show the readers his mind in the book, Channel.24 reports.

Talking about his book, the 'Dancing in the Dark' hit-maker said he feels that writing about oneself is a 'funny business'.

Springsteen autobiography will depict his upbringing in New Jersey and the story of his personal struggles.

According to the publishers, Bruce started working on his autobiography back in 2009 after performing with his E Street Band at the Super Bowl halftime show.

His autobiography will be published in hardcover, ebook, and audio editions in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and India. The rights have already been sold to the publishers in the nine countries.
