Burger King wants to turn Elvis Presley's six million pounds mansion 'Graceland' into a restaurant, it has been revealed.
Sources have claimed that the bosses at the fast-food giant have made a "serious offer" for the 5,367sq ft Elvis Presley Estate in Los Angeles' exclusive 90210 district, the Daily Star reported.
Burger King chiefs have offered the current owner just 3 million pounds for the house for a "quick deal" and have pledged to "preserve all residential historical value" of the Hollywood Hills home.
However Peter Morton, co-owner of the Hard Rock Cafe, who bought the place recently for six million pounds, is believed to be holding out in the hope of getting a higher offer.
