Spain's Sergio Garcia, who made "fried chicken" jibe against Tiger Woods at a European Tour dinner eight months ago, has said that he has apologized and re-apologized several times over the issue and cannot do it anymore.
Speaking at Abu Dhabi before his appearance at the HSBC Golf Championship, made it clear that he cannot apologise anymore, as the issue is over.
But Garcia is unable to escape old issues, as no one in interested in his fight back to be back among the top 10 golfers in the world.
Taliking about last year's troubles, he said he was target of fans when he appeared at the US Open in June.
Asked whether he had spoken at length to Woods, as had not been the case at the time of the US Open, Garcia said they have spoken as they have played several tournaments.
Garcia closed 2013 with victory in the Thailand Golf Championship, The Guardian reports.
