The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday filed a chargesheet against 10 people including Bharatiya Jana Party (BJP) MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar and his brother in connection with an arms act case.
Also, three police officials of the Makhi police station, Unnao namely, Ashok Singh Bhaduria, Kamta Pratap Singh, and Amir Khan have been named in the charge-sheet.
Sengara represents Bangarmau constituency in Unnao.
The CBI registered the case on April 12, under Section 3 and Section 25 of the Arms Act.
On a related note, the CBI on July 11 filed a charge-sheet against Sengar in the Unnao rape case.
Sengar has been charged under section 120B, 363,366,376(1), 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POSCO) Act.
