Canadian singer Celine Dion's elder brother Daniel has passed away this morning after losing his battle with cancer. He was 59 years old.
Daniel died this morning in Dion's native Montreal, Us magazine reports.

The singer's brother died just two days after her husband Rene Angelil's demise.
The bereaved family in a statement said Daniel will be remembered as a gentle and reserved man of many talents.
