A cheater was sent into prison for lying about his affair to his girlfriend.
When Luke Thompson's girlfriend Amijane Thomas went away for the weekend, he immediately invited his former lover Kelsie Davies for the night, News.com.au reported.
However, Davies contacted Thomas on Facebook and told her about their sordid affair, and even described the pattern of their bed linen to prove it.
The 25-year-old man tried to cover his cheating by telling his girlfriend that Davies must have broken into their house and known what it looked like inside.
When Thomas reported it to the police, Thompson repeated his claim which led to Davies spending five hours being questioned, and a month on bail.
However, after finding about Thompson's deception, he has now been jailed for 10 months for perverting the course of justice.
