Chhattisgarh DM in hot water for wearing sunglasses while receiving PM

The Chhattisgarh Government has issued a notice to the District Magistrate of Bastar District, Amit Kataria for donning sunglasses while receiving Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit on May 9.

Kataria was warned for not following the protocol and not showing "integrity and devotion" towards duty. It also warned him against such acts in the future.

Chief Minister Raman Singh said that the notice was given to make state officials aware of protocol of receiving the Prime Minister.
