A delegation of children from SOS Children's Village, Faridabad met Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari here today.
On this occasion, the children presented a self-made portrait of the Vice President signed by all children to Ansari. They also presented him a book of compilation of selected poems written by them.
The Vice President and his wife Salma Ansari interacted with the children and wished them good success in their career and life.
SOS Children's Villages is an independent, non-governmental, social development organisation that provides family-based care for children in India since 1964.
It advocates the concerns, rights and needs of children. More than 6000 children and young people live in 33 SOS Children's Villages and 27 SOS Youth Facilities in the country.
