Hours after United States President Donald Trump landed in China, both countries signed deals worth USD nine billion.
According to the South China Morning Post, China and the U.S. have sealed a total of 19 deals covering bioscience, aviation and smart manufacturing.
The deals were signed in the presence of Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang, who is in charge of economic issues, and U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross.
President Trump was accompanied by representatives from 30 companies on his Beijing visit.
Vice Premier Yang told commercial delegates from both countries that the deals signed was a "warm-up" and there would be more "good things" in the coming days.
President Trump's Asia trip was commenced on November 3. From China, he will head to Vietnam and the Philippines.
