The Central Information Commission (CIC) on Monday directed the Delhi Chief Secretary to review the policy of circle rates in the national capital and put them on the website of the national capital.

According to reports, the CIC issued the directives under the RTI Act and said that the difference in real value of land and circle rates in the national capital is facilitating black money in the property market and causing revenue loss to the exchequer. he observations of the CIC came after a plea by an activist, detailing the loopholes in the process to determine rates of land in various circles in the city.
