Australian captain Michael Clarke has said that the momentum that his team gained from the recent hard-fought win against South Africa will carry the team to their maiden World Twenty20 title in Bangladesh
Clarke, who is not a part of Australia's T20 squad, returned home after leading his team to a 2-1 series victory against the world's top-ranked Test side.
According to Sport24, Clarke said that he believes Australia can win the tournament as they will be led extremely well by their captain George Bailey, adding that the Test players will take the confidence from the South Africa series into the T20 World Cup.
The World T20 will feature 16 teams and starts on March 16 with the final on April 6.
Clarke's teammates David Warner, Mitchell Johnson, Shane Watson and Brad Haddin will be the key players in the T20 team to be led by Bailey during the tournament, the report added.
