PSV Eindhoven coach Phillip Cocu has revealed that Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal 'made him a better player', saying the latter had taught him the required tactical skills.
The two sides will lock horns for the first time in the Champion League opener on Tuesday, Sport24 reported.
Cocu, who played under Van Gaal, said that the Dutchman is optimally prepared for every game, adding that he is tactically strong as well.
Cocu also lauded former PSV winger Memphis Depay, who joined United in the summer for 25 million pounds, saying that he will score goals for his new club.
He added that the 21-year-old is physically strong as well as a quick learner.
The forward was the Dutch league's top scorer with 22 goals, but United fans are yet to see the same form of a player.
