Auto makers and electronic companies from 80 countries participated in an 'Integrated Transportation System Congress', organised in Tokyo recently, to showcase latest technologies which would help in improving the transportation system.

The participants revealed many latest innovations which would enhance the driving experience.

Auto giants like Nissan and Yamaha introduced autonomous car and driver notifying system respectively.

Electronics appliances companies also displayed many new products which would help in avoiding any untoward incident while driving.

Toshiba showcased an electric bus which installs 864 charging batteries and would run for 40 kilometers by 20 minutes of charging.

Information technology major Fujitsu and Japan-based location service provider Pasco showed driving support system and street view technology, respectively.

Using cloud computing, Fujitsu's driving support system records characteristics of usual driving of a certain driver and also neighboring car's information.

The driver is alerted if any unusual driving takes place to avoid any damage.

It also developed car parking support system. The camera and laser system are installed in the car which displays 3-dimensional image of the surrounding car.
