External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday claimed that a senior Congress leader was pressing her hard to give a diplomatic passport to coal scam accused former minister of state Santosh Bagrodia.
Sushma added that she would reveal the name of the Congress leader on the floor of the House today.
"A senior Congress leader was pressing me hard to give diplomatic passport to the Coal Scam accused Santosh Bagrodia.@ANI_news," the External Affairs Minister said on twitter.
"I will disclose name of the leader on the floor of the House.@imTejasBarot," she added.
Special CBI judge Bharat Parashar had on Tuesday issued summons to former coal minister of state Santosh Bagrodia and ex-coal secretary H.C. Gupta in a coal block allocation case involving Rajya Sabha member Vijay Darda.
Bagrodia and Gupta have been asked to appear before the court on August 18.
