Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Venkaiah Naidu has said that the Congress Party is not able to digest the growing popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad on Saturday, he said that disrupting parliament on flimsy grounds only shows the Congress party's disrespect for democracy.
He said that political satire, comments and criticism are part of parliamentary democracy.
Quoting Congress leaders who made indecent comments against the Prime Minister, Naidu said they the grand old party never allowed anybody to come into power other than from the Gandhis' family.
He further said that the Congress does not have any right to give sermons and teach about respecting seniors as they never practiced it.
