Cook says 100th Test of career in Perth will be 'most challenging'

England captain Alastair Cook has dubbed his 100th Test the most challenging of his career, according to reports.

According to News.com.au, Cook faced the media recently accepting the task of steering an English resurgence in Friday's third Test with his team 2-0 down is the greatest mountain climb he has faced.

He also deflected the suggestion from keeper Matt Prior that he will become England's greatest cricketer, the report said.

Mitchell Johnson has terrorised England in the first two Tests and Cook said there have been deep discussions over the past few days how he should be played, the report added.

Cook also paid tribute to Australian captain Michael Clarke who is also celebrating his 100th Test, the report further said.
