Countdown for IIFA 2016 begins!

The 17th edition of the IIFA celebrations in Madrid, Spain, will indeed be special with a cluster of stars, 13 remarkable performers, 10 spectacular sub-events, six outstanding acts, five musical mega-artists, four-day gala festival, two-pair of cool hosts and one mega-extravaganza weekend.

Bollywood biggies including Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Sridevi, Boney Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Boman Irani, Kabir Khan and Ranveer Singh besides others will grace the event to be hosted by Fawad Khan-Karan Johar and Farhan Akhtar-Shahid Kapoor.

The glittering IIFA Awards ceremony will see some outstanding performances by the biggest stars in Bollywood including Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan.

IIFA will over the four days also see a host of incredible sub-events including the Global Business Forum that will address several important issues including urgent environmental issues affecting the global population.

IIFA Stomp in collaboration with MULAFEST Urban Trends Festival will bring together the best of Spanish and Indian culture with four incredible musical chapters over the weekend.

The third day of the IIFA Weekend will witness a special Yoga Masterclass by Shilpa Shetty, who returns to IIFA after seven years.

The celebrations will culminate with the IIFA Stomp and Rang Jam Party with a theme based on one of India's most colourful festivals Holi.

The party will feature amazing Bollywood remixes, great visuals, henna artistes, Bollywood dancers on stage, Indian street food and performances by three of the most well-known DJ's of India.
