'Friends' star Courteney Cox is all set to join American comedy series 'Shameless' for its upcoming ninth season.
The 54-year-old will guest star as Jen Wagner, a famous actress that hires Lip (played by Jeremy Allen White) as a sober companion.
In addition to Cox, 'Sons of Anarchy' alum Katey Sagal will also join the Showtime series as Ingrid Jones, a crazed psych patient, according to Entertainment Weekly.
While Sagal is best known for her time on 'Married With Children' and most recently for 'Sons of Anarchy', Cox has not made a noteworthy TV appearance since 'Cougar Town' wrapped in 2015.
Meanwhile, season nine of Showtime's longest-running series will see the series hit the 100th episode mark. Also starring Emmy Rossum, Ethan Cutkosky, Shanola Hampton, Steve Howey, Emma Kenney and Cameron Monaghan, 'Shameless' is scheduled to premiere next month.
