Crude bomb explodes in Kolkata's Chandni Chowk area, no casualty

A minor crude bomb exploded in Kolkata's Chandni Chowk area on Friday afternoon, creating panic among the locals.

According to reports, the bomb squad personnel from the Lalbazar City Police Headquarters rushed to the spot with sniffer dogs and recovered a second crude bomb from the spot.

There was, however, no casualty.

According to reports, a box, which was lying near the crossing of Central Avenue and Madan street suddenly exploded in the busy area.
