Cricket South Africa (CSA) CEO Haroon Lorgat has reportedly expressed his satisfaction over the meeting with his Indian counterpart Sanjay Patel to consider India's tour to South Africa later this year.

According to Sport24, the meeting was arranged between the two boards following concerns raised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) around the schedule that was released by CSA.

Expressing his satisfaction, Lorgat said that he is happy that they had a constructive meeting and offered his gratitude to Patel for his support in trying to find a way forward, adding that it now clear that CSA will have to wait for the BCCI's Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be completed before any tour schedule can be confirmed.

According to Lorgat, they need to make sure that the good relationship between their respective boards is maintained and strengthened, adding that they also honoured the history between the two countries.
