Extending his greetings to the nation on the auspicious occasion of Deepawali, Vice President Mohammed Hamid Ansari on Tuesday said the festival of lights signifies the victory of good over evil and reaffirms belief in the noble ideals and morals of Lord Rama's life.
"I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of Deepawali, the festival of lights. Celebrated with traditional fervor and zeal, Deepawali signifies the victory of good over evil and reaffirms our belief in the noble ideals and morals of Lord Rama's life," said Vice President Ansari.
"May this festival bring peace, harmony, prosperity and happiness in our lives," he added.
