New Delhi, Nov 11 (ANI): Bollywood current hot property Deepika Padukone was in national capital with her former boyfriend and current 'Tamasha' co-star Ranbir Kapoor to celebrate the festival of lights.

The 'Piku' star, who will be working with director Imtiaz Ali for the second time after 'Love Aaj Kal', seemed excited after working with him in 'Tamasha'.

Talking about finally working with Ranbir and Imtiaz together, Deepika exclusively told ANI, "I have worked with Imtiaz in 'Love Aaj Kal' and he also wrote 'Cocktail'. We are on good terms with each other and I am really glad that he has roped-in me for the movie."

"I always wanted to work with this combination where Imtiaz would direct her opposite Ranbir", she added.

Ranbir looked sharp in maroon kurta-pyjama teamed up with a printed flower jacket whereas leggy lass Deepika looked gorgeous in an off-white saree with smoky eyes.

The 'Barfi' star and the 29-year-old actress made rangoli, tried their luck on cards, lighted diyas and lighted up "phool jhadis" on the occasion.

The duo also spoke about their movie 'Tamasha' and revealed that it is not a sad movie but a happy movie with a happy ending.

The movie helmed by Imtiaz Ali is all set to hit the theatres on November 27.
