The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday trained its guns on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) after the Delhi High Court set aside the order appointing 21 MLAs as Parliament Secretaries and said the degeneration of Arvind Kejriwal-led party is now complete.

Reacting to the High Court's order, BJP leader GVL Narsimha Rao said the AAP has degenerated into a party, which is only interested in salary hikes for its own MLAs and is self engrossed in its own benefits.

"It has also been hit by series of scandals involving exploitation of women. Now, the degeneration of the AAP in Delhi is complete," he added.

The Delhi High Court earlier in the day quashed the appointment of 21 Parliamentary Secretaries after the AAP Government conceded that the Lt Governor's approval was not taken in the matter.

A bench of Chief Justice G. Rohini and Justice Sangita Dhingra Sehgal cancelled the appointments after hearing the PIL filed by NGO 'Rashtriya Mukti Morcha' against the Delhi Government's decision to appoint 21 party legislators as Parliamentary Secretaries.

The AAP appointed the Parliamentary Secretaries after coming to power in February 2015 to facilitate smooth functioning but made it clear that they won't receive any remuneration or perk of any kind from the government.
