Delhi Police Commissioner B S Bassi on Friday dismissed what he termed as 'baseless allegations' against Anti-Corruption Branch chief M K Meena.
"We should not pay attention to these baseless allegations. The duty of our force is to protect Delhi with the help of the people and the administration of the city," Bassi told the media.
On Thursday, Delhi Police (retired) inspector Jawahar Lal with the Delhi Police filed a complaint with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accusing Meena of embezelling Rs 20 lakh in a curtain purchase scam during his tenure as the principal of the Police Training College in the national capital.
