A Delhi Court on Tuesday sent former law minister Somnath Bharti to two-day police custody in a domestic violence case filed by his wife Lipika Mitra.
Delhi Police had earlier in the day produced the former Delhi law minister before the Dwarka Court.
Bharti, who has been accused of domestic violence by Mitra had surrendered at the Dwarka Police Station on Monday evening.
The 41-year-old AAP lawmaker has been accused of domestic violence and torture by his wife Lipika, whom he married in 2010.
