New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson's blistering century was overshadowed by a commendable Indian bowling performance as the host bundled out Kiwis for 242 runs in the second ODI of the five-match series here at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium on Thursday.

After being asked to bat first, the Black Caps lost opener Martin Guptill for a duck off Umesh Yadav's delivery.

Williamson then steadied his side's innings as he smashed 14 boundaries in his 118-run knock besides sharing a 120-run partnership with opener Tom Latham (46) for second wicket.

As the wicket kept falling on the other side, Ross Taylor and Corey Anderson contributed 21 runs each for the visitors.

For India, Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the bowlers as he finished with the figures of three for 35 followed by Amit Mishra (3 for 60).

Yadav, Axar Patel and Kedar Jadhav also chipped in with a wicket each.

With dew on the field, it should not be a difficult task for the Men in Blue to chase down the target.

India are currently leading the five-match series 1-0 following their six-wicket win in the opening ODI in Dharamsala.
