A team of Parliamentarians is battling the Delhi Police today in a friendly cricket match at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in the national capital.
Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur, Minister of State for I-B Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, BJP leader Manoj Tiwari, INLD leader Dushyant Chautala and former cricketer Kirti Azad are among those who are participating in the match.
Sonowal said that the match was organised keeping in mind of the fitness of all the Parliamentarians.
Anurag Thakur said the match would develop understanding between the players and help promote the game.
Rathore added that he had not prepared for the match at all as he was coming directly from his constituency.
