Delhi: School sweeper arrested for allegedly molesting six-year-old
A school sweeper, 22-year-old Rajesh of Sant Nirankari School, Malviya Nagar was arrested by the Delhi Police for allegedly molesting a six-year-old, Class I student on Wednesday.
The incident reportedly took place inside the premises during school hours, after the victim informed her parents about the misbehaviour with her at the school.
The police were informed about the incident by a PCR call. Upon investigation, the police managed to trace the accused.
Rakesh, a resident of Dakshina Puri, was identified by the victim.
The accused was arrested under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) and 376 IPC acts.
