Zoe Saldana has welcomed twins with artist husband Marco Perego.
The 36-year-old 'Avatar' star, who's now a first time mom, gave birth to her babies in a Los Angeles hospital, and a friend said that the pair is delighted as they were waiting for the day ecstatically, the Mirror reported.
The pal added that this was a "dream come true" and just a start for the couple, as they want to have a big family.
Saldana, who had had showed off her bump on the cover of American Elle magazine in October, had married Marco in 2013 in a secret ceremony in London.
The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' actress had found fame in 2002 when she starred alongside singer Britney Spears in the movie, 'Crossroads,' Zoe, 35, and it was famous friend Spears itself who revealed that she was expecting twins.
Saldana has said that she'll teach her kids, whose sex is yet to be revealed, to be multi-lingual, and they will speak both English and Spanish as her mother is from Puerto Rico.
