Singer-songwriter Demi Lovato is inching closer to her post-rehab recovery as she was recently spotted catching up with her girl gang.
The 'Sorry Not Sorry' singer is trying to get back to normal life as she recently stepped out with her friends in Los Angeles area, reported E! Online.
In the pictures obtained by E! News, Lovato was spotted wearing a grey T-shirt paired with black denim jeans and white sneakers for her evening out. The 26-year-old singer seemed happy, laughing and chatting away with her girl gang.
However, the Grammy nominee has been keeping a low-profile on social media, as she is focusing on her health.
"She's been working out with a trainer several days per week, eating right, and truly has a whole different mindset. She has been following all of the steps and guidelines put in place by her specialists," a source revealed to E! News.
The insider also shared that Lovato has been spending a lot of time with her mother and going for mandatory check-ups.
She has been spotted with designer Henri Alexander Levy a few times, but E! News revealed that the pair is not dating, and he's just helping her through her recovery phase and being a sober companion.
"Demi wants to be around people who are like-minded and Henri is good energy for her. They spend a huge amount of time together but Demi is not focused on dating. Demi is very focused on her health," revealed a source.
The 'Let it Go' singer's family is proud of how much she has accomplished since completing three months of treatment in a rehab and they are also hopeful for a positive future. "She's happy. She's healthy. She's working on her sobriety, and she's getting the help she needs. That in itself encourages me about her future and about the future of our family," Lovato's mother Dianna de la Garza said.
Lovato was rushed to the hospital on July 24 after an apparent drug overdose.
