Democrats have become party of 'obstruction': Trump

United States President Donald Trump on Sunday launched a scathing attack on the Democrats, saying that they were without a leader and had become the party of 'obstruction'.

Trump alleged that the Democrats were only interested in themselves and not doing what is best for the country.

"The Democrats, without a leader, have become the party of obstruction. They are only interested in themselves and not in what's best for U.S.", Trump tweeted.

Earlier, Trump on Thursday hit out at the opponent Democratic Party accusing them of wanting to shut down the ruling government.

Trump took to his Twitter handle to fire off the Democrats.

"I want to help our miners while the Democrats are blocking their healthcare. I promise to rebuild our military and secure our border. Democrats want to shut down the government. Politics!" Trump said in tweet.

In another tweet, Trump stated the opposition party was jeopardising the safety of the American troops to bail out their donors from insurance companies, adding it was time to put the Americans first.
