Thousands thronged the Banke Bihari temple here on Friday morning to celebrate Holi.
People from all over the country come to Mathura every year to be a part of the celebrations. The devotees here play Holi with 'gulal' and natural colours made by flowers and kesar.
Holi is celebrated for more than two weeks in Vrindavan and Mathura.
Holi of Banke Bihari is famous far and wide. This festival is celebrated from the arrival of Basant Panchmi but the main utsav is celebrated for six days. In these six days, Banke Bihari is dressed up in white coloured outfit.
