New Delhi, Nov 14 (ANI): Veteran actor Anupam Kher, after leading an anti-intolerance walk in the national capital, has claimed that the entire row over calling the nation 'intolerant' is politically motivated and there is a need for dialogue to solve such chaos.

"I think there are events that take place in every country. Look what has happened in France today, they have declared an emergency. We can't deny that we live in a diverse country and differences are bound to happen and things are also politically motivated," the 60-year-old actor told ANI.

Kher further said that there is a need for communication or dialogue and that should come from people who are upset.

The actor added, "People don't imagine that someone is suddenly intolerant. I have been livng in this world for a long time and this whole thing about 'intolerance and intolerant' has happened in last 20 days, as if this word was not coined earlier."

The actor expressed that he has no intention of coming out of his comfort zone to oppose people of his own fraternity.

Anupam Kher, who is in the city to do theater play 'Mera Woh Matlab Nahi Tha', credited his success to the 'tolerant' people of India for they had given him the chances.

The show will take place in Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi, on November 14 and 15.
