In a way to enhance education through digital platform, the Australian Commission has organized Australian Business week 2017 for Indian students to pursue best quality education at the minimum cost.

A 170-member Australian business delegation would visit the country from August 28 to September 1 as part of the Australia Business Week in India (ABWI).

In an exclusive interview with ANI, CEO, Australian Trade and Investment Commission, Stephanie Fahey said, "The unique feature of the Australian Trade and Investment Commission is to provide education to the remote areas of India by providing digital training to the Indian teachers via online."

She further said that the Australian Commission has been in terms with private telecom companies to facilitate smooth internet service which would benefit the trainees to pursue online education sitting at any place across the country without disruption.

Alike Australia, where digital platform encourages students to pursue education along with their jobs, the commission has decided to use the platform to train Indian teachers on professional grounds.

"The commission has tied up with a renowned Australian University which would provide different type of courses and train teachers through digital platform. Once these teachers are trained, they would be able to educate people of remote areas of India," she said.

She also informed that the purpose of providing online training to the Indian students and teachers is to benefit them with the best quality education at the minimum cost.

"It is evident that lot of students who want to pursue higher education from abroad restrict themselves to step ahead due to economic backlog. This platform will enable them to get best quality education at the minimum cost within the country," the CEO said.
