Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit stated Friday that her government is focusing on higher education of girls in the capital.
Inaugurating a new college building and a hostel for girls of the Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women at Vasundhra Enclave here, Dikshit stressed upon the need of skill development and referred to the inauguration of Hunar World Class Skill Centre yesterday.
She said skilled women can contribute substantially to the country's economic development.
She congratulated students and the college faculty on formal opening of the new building and hostel.
