With Arvind Kejriwal questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi whether he would fulfill his promise to grant full statehood for Delhi, Congress leader Manish Tewari on Friday said one should avoid commenting on the Aam Aadmi Party on a daily basis, as it is a directionless party having no agenda.
"The difficulty with the Aam Aadmi Party is that it is a party without an agenda, it is party without a direction and more importantly it is a party which is bereft of its moorings," Tewari told ANI here.
"So, therefore, on one day they say one thing, on another day they say another thing. It is not really to diminish ourselves by commenting on them on a daily basis," he added.
A day before Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to address a rally in the national capital, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal has reminded the former whether he would stick to his promise to grant full statehood status for Delhi.
"Tomo Modi ji addresses Del. He had promised full statehood to Del. Will he announce that tomo? Or will BJP do a U-turn on this issue also?" Kejriwal said on twitter.
"Before polls, BJP announced 30% redn in elec rates. Delhi eagerly hoping that PM wud announce that tomo #DelhiasksPMModi," he added in another tweet.
Meanwhile, Tewari downplayed former Delhi chief minister Sheila Diskhit's remark that the Congress would support AAP again in case of a hung assembly in Delhi.
"Well Mrs. Dikshit has already clarified that she has been quoted out of context," he said.
Dikshit had earlier said that there was no question of supporting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and if a situation arises for extending support to AAP to form the government then her party will take a call analyzing the post -poll situation.
