Disney is finally planning to revive the 'Indiana Jones' franchise after buying rights from Paramount in 2013, and is eyeing Chris Pratt for the lead.

If things materialize, the 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' star, 35, would play the role of swashbuckling archaeologist, which was made famous by Harrison Ford in 'Raiders Of The Lost Ark', Deadline.com reported.

Pratt had bagged his first lead role in 2014's Marvel and Disney blockbuster, and would be working with Denzel Washington and director Antoine Fuqua in April for MGM and Sony's 'The Magnificent Seven.
