World No.1 Novak Djokovic has said that he is sorry for the words that his father Srdjan spoke about Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal not being a sport and that he has had good and fair relationships with his colleagues so far.
According to Tennis.com, Djokovic expressed that as unfortunate as it sounded, he could not be responsible for his father's deeds and for his words because everyone, including him, was entitled to their own opinion.
Srdjan had recently said that Federer was the best tennis player in history but as a man he was the opposite, while alleging that Nadal was his son's best friend while he was winning but when things changed, they were no longer friends, adding that this was not sport.
Djokovic said that his father had helped him a lot in his career and he did not have any influence on his recent statements.
