A customized motorcycle that's said to have starred in 1969 film Easy Rider has been put up for auction with a price tag of whopping 1.35 million dollars.

California auction house Profiles in History said bidding had been fierce but did not name the buyer, the BBC reported.

The bike, which is decorated with the American flag and features a forward-angled front wheel and handlebars and fishtail exhaust pipes, was reportedly used in the film's climactic crash scene, the Harley-Davidson was restored by actor Dan Haggerty.
