'Eco Rent a Car' appoints Gautam Nath as new CEO

India's leading ground transportation service provider Eco Rent a Car has announced the appointment of its new CEO Gautam Nath.

Gautam will spearhead the company's operations and helm its evolution as it enters into a new phase of growth and expansion.

He has joined Eco Rent a Car from Delhivery, where he was the Senior Vice President of the International and Domestic B2B business verticals.

"Eco Rent a Car has seen notable and visible growth since inception, especially over the last two years. In 20 years of our existence, we have created an enterprise, which has managed to tide through various trends that have emerged in the Car Rental, Employee Transportation and "Taxi" landscape. Successfully reeling through various industry upheavals, Eco has now found the key to rapid acceleration, expansion and consolidation and aim at bringing in fresh ideas and perspectives, as we usher in a new era of car renting," said MD Eco Rent a Car, Rajesh Loomba.

"We are pleased to welcome Gautam on board, are certain that, with his years of experience, he will be instrumental in rolling the wheel up hill. We believe that he will not only drive growth, but will also be able to lead strategy and company culture in a professional, rewarding and effective way," added Loomba.

Expressing enthusiasm towards his new role Gautam said, "As the CEO of Eco Rent a Car, my role is well-defined and comes at a time when the market is ripe with healthy competition, latest technology and changing mid sets about car ownership. Having been in the business for the past twenty years, the Eco team has a deep understanding of the nuances of the Indian ground transportation space. My job will be to leverage the strengths of the company and turn them into winning strategies to cement Eco's position as a domain leader."
