The star cast of 'Ghanchakkar', Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan, along with their director Rajkumar Gupta, were seen promoting their new flick in Mumbai.
While interacting with the media, Hashmi said that this is a one of its kind comedy film, which has never been made in India.
"Genuinely when Raj came up to me with the scrip it was a 4 hours narration which I think is the longest film narration I have ever heard. I had to take 3 toilet breaks and I think it's the best scripts I have ever heard. It's going to change the way we see comedies, because even though good comedy films are made in our country," he said.
The actor asserted that when audience will see the movie they will realize that they are missing out on a kind of comedy that they haven't seen for a very long time and its genuinely funny.
It's got surprises, its got thriller and some fabulous performances, he said.
Balan, who will be appearing in a Punjabi avatar at all the films promotional events, explained the reason behind her donning the onscreen character.
"I am here as Neetu today and that's the reason I am dressed exactly like her today. Honestly she is very real and she doesn't understand fashion. So she picks up things from fashion magazines, she picks up photographs and gives it to her tailor and asks him to make something similar to that even if it suites her or not," the actress said.
The 'Dirty Picture' star insisted that 'Neetu' is adorable and she is happy to be at the function as her and through the promotion one will see her like that only.
The film is slated for a June 28 release.
