Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi is all set to star in the upcoming flick, 'Father's Day'.
Directed by Shantanu Baagchi, the flick will be based on the life of Suryakant Bhande Patil, India's top detective who solved 120 child kidnapping cases for free.
Taking to Twitter, the 'Jannat' star confirmed the news, writing, "Excited to announce my film 'Father's day' based on the life of Suryakant Bhande Patil, India's top detective who has solved 120 child kidnapping cases for free. Directed by Shantanu Baagchi, written by @writish. Produced by @emraanhfilms & @mataramfilms. @priyagupta999."
Meanwhile, Emraan will also be seen with Rishi Kapoor in Jeethu Joseph's debut Bollywood movie, and with newbie Shreya Dhanwanthary in 'Cheat India'.
The actor is also all set to essay the role of a spy in the upcoming Netflix series 'The Bard of Blood'.
